Quizimoto uses a minimal set of cookies, all of which are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
2. Cookies We Set

3. Cloudflare Cookies (Embeds)
When Cloudflare Turnstile is used for bot protection on embedded quizzes, Cloudflare may set the following cookies on the host site's domain (not on quizimoto.com):

These cookies are classified as strictly necessary (security) under most privacy frameworks. However, quiz creators embedding Quizimoto on their own sites should disclose these cookies in their own cookie policies.
4. Local Storage
Quizimoto embeds may use localStorage on the host site for:
- No-repeat tracking: Storing which quiz questions a respondent has previously seen (when question bank random selection is enabled) to avoid showing the same questions on repeat visits.
This data stays on the respondent's device and is never transmitted to our servers.
5. No Cookie Banner Required
Since all cookies used by the Quizimoto dashboard are strictly necessary for the Service to function, a cookie consent banner is not required under GDPR for our dashboard. Quiz creators should assess their own cookie consent requirements for their websites.
6. Guidance for Quiz Creators
If you embed Quizimoto quizzes on your website, we recommend you:
- Mention Cloudflare Turnstile cookies in your cookie policy as strictly necessary security cookies.
- Disclose the use of
localStoragefor quiz state if applicable. - Link to this Cookie Policy or include relevant details in your own privacy documentation.
